Description

"She's a rebel
She's a saint
She's salt of the earth
And she's dangerous

She's a rebel
Vigilante
Missing link on the brink
Of destruction

From Chicago to Toronto
She's the one that they
Call old whatsername

She's the symbol
of resistance
and she's holding on my
heart like a hand grenade"

As I hope you guys know already fromtime to time I feel like drawing some more different pics than my "usual themes" you know, less tickles and some more actual different themes, so I decided to make a picture I feel so happy doing, with Annabelle ^^ Because it means a lot to me every time I draw her as she deserve to be drawn, to be honest every time I draw her It feels like a milestone somehow, the first time I drew her here I was feeling down with the transition from traditional art to digital art, feeling like I wasn't doing enough, and I DREW HER
Annabelle (colored) by codricor1
one whole night and I felt like I could still do more ^^ I guess you could say she is the symbol of my progress ^^

For me it stills means a lot, actually now I feel drawing her that again I can improve more! and turn into a better artist even.

SO here we have Annabelle rocking out! and been herself, smiling happy and just doing what she wants, just as we all should ^^

Hope you enjoyed the picture guys, Have a nice day!

Also when I think about it, I guess this could count as the draw again meme?  Meme: Before and After by Bampire

You've definitely improved with your digital art since you started on it a while ago. You've been getting more ambitious with posing, your coloring and effects with light/shadow have vastly improved and its easy to see how comfortable you are with it now. This piece is no exception. The bright lights and joyous expression on her face give off so much energy and you can feel the beat through her actions in art form. The posing is perfect because she doesn't look static, you can tell she's moving around when playing these drums from the hair moving to how her body seems angled to one side.

The bright colors and use of stage lights all compliment not only her appearance such as her vibrant red hair, but also her personality. From her overjoyed expression, glowing cheeks and lovely green eyes you can tell she's really getting into the performance. You've done well to convey the feeling of pure love for music and stage presence from the colors alone. Shading is in all the right places, nothing exceptional but nothing bad about it; just looks as it should. All the other little details such as the color blending on her clothes and instruments as well as her skin tone are all very natural, given the stage lights beaming down on her. All in all, you've made a very bombastic piece with an obviously cheery and musical person. Nice work!
